Budd Observation Car in Mexico (editor's title)

Observation car Olmeca
Budd-built observation car "Olmeca" bringing up the rear of the National Railways of Mexico's El Tapatio train. The train ran between Mexico City and Guadalajara, and is shown here passing Buena Vista station. The Budd Company, of Philadelphia, became a leading manufacturer of lightweight passenger cars in the 1930s. In addition to their extensive North American market, Budd's customers also included railways in South America and Europe.
